In android, programatically create layout, with all views inside, and get the layout for use?

I have a listView with a custom layout with a few buttons in it, along with four more views. I know how to create the custom layout, however I don’t know how to get it programatically created.
I am able to create a View by using mCustomList.addView(myView)
How do I create it in a way that I can use in the same way, with getView, getNextSelectedView, or something like that?

A:

Construct the view in XML, then find the view in the layout programmatically using getChildAt() or whatever mechanism you used to add the view to the list.

Q:

What are the major differences between Row and RowMajor in matrix decomposition?

I’ve found on Wikipedia that “Row-Major decomposition is given by a matrix A = A’Q’ with A’ a permutation of the rows and Q’ a full-rank triangular matrix. This decomposition is not unique, but it is unique up to a change of sign in the permutation of the rows.”
However, if I follow the same method and don’t allow myself to use a transposition (i.e., a permutation of the rows), then I don’t need to find a “unique” matrix to find my decomposition. Because the decomposition A’Q’ = A*R with A and R in the diagonal form is unique. What is the difference between these two decompositions?

A:

The Row-Major decomposition is unique, since it is based on the relation between the original matrix and a permutation of its rows.
You only need to permute the rows of an $n\times n$ matrix because $n$ is the dimension of the underlying vector space.

Camera and AVCaptureSession on the same view, some issues

I’m a new iOS beginner, and i want to make a still picture function for my App. I thought i can just create a custom button on the UIImagePickerViewController and do it like this. But unfortunately, my app crashes. (Xcode does not tell me why.)
